DJ Shay, started mixing at the young age of 17 in Queens, New York. At 21 DJ Shay started releasing his own mix-tapes, which helped him gain new clients and followers. His mixtapes have had domestic and international success.
He has done collaborations with many talented artists and DJs such as DJ Envy From Power 105.1Fm, Fatman Scoop, Troy Ave, Krs-One, Jim Jones, Maino, Juelz Santana, Jung Joc, Etc. Dj Shay has performed at most of the top venues in NYC. For example, Guesthouse, Home Night Club, Krystals, Tiki Bar in Brooklyn, Secrets Lounge in Queens, Mavi Lounge, Magnet in Queens, Club Lit, Play Lounge, Club Freeze in Brooklyn, Perfections, Starlets, Suzie Wong, Greenhouse, Wip, Le Souk, 40/40, Katra, Area516 in Long Island, VIP Room, Dredsurfer Grill, Minnesotas in Long Beach and the list goes on and on.
